A tango argentino exhibition and/or initiation...

... are highly appreciated animations for many occasions, such as company- or private parties, conferences, weddings, birthdays.

   Tango dance show (with live music)

We can make a tango argentino dance performance with professional tango couple(s) accompanied live by  professional tango musicians.

Duration of the performance: 
on demand (generally between min.15 minutes and max. 45 minutes)

Dance:
on demand (can be 1, 2, 3 or more professional tango dance couples). 
We propose
        - tango choreography for 2 couples (dancing together with architectural figures in space (mirrors, parallel dance, partner changes...) 
        - tango salón (in close embrace, traditional dance style with simple steps)
        - tango fantasía (mix of close dance & show elements)
        - vals porteño (the waltz version derived of tango argentino)
        - milonga (a quicker, more playful version of tango argentino)

Music:
we can bring along our own music on CD, or we propose live music by min. 3 to max. 6 professional tango musicians. 
For live music we propose
    - bandoneón (1 or more - this is the typical tango argentino instrument)
    - guitar
    - double bass
    - piano
    - violin (1 or more)
Besides the dance exhibitions, the musicians can play several sets (e.g. during a dinner or a dance party) up to a maximum of 120 minutes. They propose both typical dancing or rather listening music (more Piazzolla like).

Our needs: 
For the dance exhibition we need:
    - a dancing floor of min. 6 x 8 m, with sprung floor or dance carpet (for other floors check first with us)
    - if without live music, a CD player and a DJ who puts on the music 
    - good lighting of the floor
    - a dressing room with mirrors and preferably water or a toilet close by
    - drinking water and something to eat if we have to be present for 3 hours or more

For the live music we need:
    -  a space to place the musicians of min. 3 x 5 m. with chairs
    - if you ask for a pianist: a piano tuned to 442 Hz
    - all technical material: high quality sound system and microphones (the preferred sound systems are Apogee, Meyersound or D&B), speakers, electricity) and a technician at the commands
    - a sound check must be foreseen before the event
    - a dressing room with mirrors and preferably water or a toilet close by
    - drinking water and something to eat if we have to be present for 3 hours or more

   Tango argentino initiation

We propose to teach your audience a few basic steps of tango argentino. The atmosphere will become more relaxed and the mood hilarious.

Duration of the initiation:
on demand (generally between 30 minutes and 60 minutes)

Conditions for the initiation:
ideally we need an equal number of male and female participants. If you don't have enough of one or the other, we can bring along some dancers to reach a balance.

Space needed:
An average space of 1 m² per participating couple is needed, so if you have a space of 100 m², a max. of 10/12 couples can participate.
