Holiday dedicated to Argentine Tango, Friendship and the Joy of Living.

Dates: from 16 to 23 July 2005

Argentine Tango, sun, sea, nature, health, relaxation, good food, friendship...
Level: for intermediate till advanced tango dancers (classes at different levels)

Defined as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean’’, Ustica is a true Paradise, a natural aquarium that holds 50% of the Mediterranean species of flora and fauna...“Blessed be you, who were born in Ustica, and live in Ustica!” (L. S. d'Asburgo Lorena)
The island Ustica derives its name from the Roman name Ustum, which means "burnt".

It is probably due to its volcanic aspect and its particular geological structures. This name, however, is contradicted by the green that covers the isle and brightens up its landscape. The Island of Ustica was the first Mediterranean resort to be declared marine natural reserve.

It is an authentic Paradise, thirty-six miles away from the Sicilian Coast, which holds in the depths of its waters most of the marine fauna and flora of our Mare Nostrum. Ustica has been divided into three naturalistic areas in order to avoid the harmful effects of an indiscriminate tourism and has been subject to a series of interventions in defence of its inestimable natural patrimony.

A wonderful natural cave, the Grotta Azzurra, is set in the cliff below: renown for its spectacular chromatic plays. All the rooms, furnished with elegance, overlook the sea in a panoramic position towering over the cliff, and have a romantic terrace. The Restaurant offers typical specialities of the island and a refined service. The Hotel's rocky beach is equipped with a swimming-pool with whirlpool, dominated by a characteristic windmill.
