'2 TO TANGO - 7*'
by Marisa y Oliver * Workshop 7: fundamental technique of the giro with entradas: communication and synchronisation Level: intermediates till advanced, min. 1 year tango (basic knowledge of the giro required) NB. The '2 to Tango' concept is a new series of workshops that Marisa y Oliver propose this season around fundamental leading and following techniques, without using complicated sequences or figures. It is meant for couples of different levels who wish to explore specific tools to become a creative leader and a dynamic follower. It is based on our conviction that 'it takes 2 to tango', so both the leader and the follower have an active role. Therefore we believe that to get a more complete view of the tango, it should be taught by couples rather then by single leaders or followers. Each workshop can be followed separately, but to get a thorough overview,
we advise to follow more workshops of the series. |

INTENSIVE INITIATION WORKSHOP
by Luc y Caroline 2 x 75 minutes with 15 minutes break at 15h30. Level: absolute beginners (no dancing experience required) who want to discover the tango, and for those who want to review the basics. Singles who search a partner can contact us to be put in contact with each-other.

by Marisa y Oliver Improving the balance and freedom of movement, subtleties in leading and following, playful elements to tango nuevo music. Level: neo beginners & intermediates, min. 1 year tango NB. Exceptionally, Marisa y Oliver will give a 'Neo tango elements' workshop especially for tango dancers with less experience (1 year), who wish to explore some of the typical aspects of neo tango elements. The purpose is to get aware about the axis and balance, to improve the elasticity and freedom of movement and to explore another musicality: the beat of 'tango nuevo' music. 16h-21h30: Milonga with DJ Ben |

'NEO TANGO ELEMENTS - 12'
by Marisa y Oliver Improving the balance and freedom of movement, subtleties in leading and following, playful elements to tango nuevo music. Level: advanced, min. 3 years tango NB. The 'Neo tango elements' is a series of workshops created by Marisa y Oliver for dancers of advanced level who wish to explore new techniques of leading and dancing tango: boleos on line, soltadas, original giros, ganchos, piernazos, enganches, rastradas, colgadas, volcadas, sacadas... Another musicality is explored, to the beat of 'tango nuevo' music. Each 'Neo tango' workshop will cover a different aspect or sequence and can thus be followed separately, there is no need to have participated in the previous workshops.
