NEW in 2010 Accommodation is in the enchanting 4* Hotel Sierra Silvana, immersed in an oasis of green and dipped in the fascination of nature. The hotel is situated on top of the airy hills surrounding Fasano, but only 12 km away of the sunny and exotic beaches of the Adriatic coast. |

The hotel offers a large swimming pool, lighted with torches and lanterns with free beds and umbrellas, just next to the bar and terrace. | |
| 12 km down the hill is the
hotel's private beach with free umbrellas and beds. Every day, a free shuttle bus brings the hotel guests to the white sand beaches and limpid and crystal water of the Adriatic coastline. |

| Throughout the huge garden, 4 typical "trulli"
and 120 cosy, bright and quiet hotel rooms are gathered in 5
abodes surrounded by Mediterranean plants and trees of various kinds.
All the rooms have a private bathtub or shower, a telephone with direct line, minibar, air conditioning, satellite TV, hairdryer, modem plug and a small balcony.

Every day the menu proposes
different international and typically Mediterranean plates, with fresh
fish or meat, a colourful starters buffet and fresh fruit and dessert
buffet. At every meal, guests can choose between 3 first courses, 3 main courses
with side dishes, salad and a choice of desserts. |

| The
evening milongas take place on the (roofed) open air terrace or in the enchanting open air "gazebo" next
to the swimming pool, with an astonishing pink bouganvillea growing
around and through it. The tango classes take place in 3 specious, bright rooms with marble floors. |

Children are welcome: the wide garden has a small play-ground and the
hotel offers a kids corner and a mini club with babysitting service on
request.

The
holiday includes
- Hotel half board accommodation for 7 nights (arrival
Sunday 22/08, departure Sunday 29/08/2010) in air-conditioned
double rooms with
private bath or shower, wc, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone and
balcony. Use of the free facilities of the hotel: swimming pool, play ground for
children, parking...
- Buffet
breakfast and evening meals with typical
Apulian and international cuisine. Every evening an outstanding menu
is proposed with a vast choice of first course, main course, side dishes, salad, dessert. 1/4 L mineral water and 1/4 L wine per
person are included in the price.

use of the hotel's shuttle service to and from the private beach (2x/day)

- The Tango workshops: a total of 14 hours, an equal amount with
each of the teaching couples.
- Every evening milonga till 02h AM open to local tangueros, one gala evening with tango

& Oliver Koch
Al compás del corazón / La Tangueria, Brussels, Belgium Marisa & Oliver have been working as a tango couple since 1996, giving workshops and exhibitions all over Europe as well as in the USA and Buenos Aires. They also have a vast experience in teaching and organising tango holidays in Italy, France and Austria. Their tango school Al compás del corazón and their milonga in La Tangueria have become a reference for tango in Belgium and abroad. |

Tobias Bert & Loredana De Brasi
Scuola stabile La Milonga, Bologna, Italy Loredana & Tobias teach all over Italy and Europe. Their permanent school La Milonga is one of Italy's major tango establishments (created in the early 1990). They also participate and co-organise the yearly Tango Mania Summer Festival in Bologna. They both have participated in several tango festivals, including for Tobias the Third World Tango Festival of Buenos Aires. He also has a vast experience as choreographer and dancer of several tango shows alongside with dancers such as Javier Rodriguez & Andrea Missé, Esteban Moreno & Claudia Codega.... and with world famous orchestras Color Tango, Los Reyes del Tango, etc. Before moving to Italy, Loredana was a dancer in main tango shows in Buenos Aires and on tour, including Tango Pasión and Tango x 2. |

During the tango holiday in Selva di Fasano, the 2 above couples of teachers will focus on technique,
as well as on detailed refinements regarding posture, axis & balance, embrace, foot work, adornos, musicality, leading and following.
The aim is to create a more
harmonious, comfortable and enjoyable dance.
A detailed schedule of the classes will be published
about one month before the
tango week.
The classes will most likely be in English and Italian. The teachers also
speak French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian...
Levels
For the intermediates
at least 2 years regular tango teaching and
dancing is required.
For the advanced
at least 4 years intensive tango teaching and dancing
is required.
The teachers will evaluate the level and divide the participants into two
different groups (max. 15 couples per group). It is not possible to change group,
nor to participate in more than one level. Each participant will have an
equal amount of hours with each couple of teachers.
The
Valle d'Itria
The Val
d'Itria, also known as the "Valley of the Trulli", is a large area in the
central north of Apulia (Puglia) with access to the Adriatic sea on the east
coast and the Ionic sea to the south and west. It is characterised by lovely
beaches, antique dry stone "Trulli" houses and original hill top towns and
villages, all within excursion distance from each other.
Rolling hills of patchwork fields divided by dry stone walls separate the
picturesque towns valley towns of Alberobello, recently included as one of
UNESCO's world heritage site from the colourful and deliciously untouched
hilltop towns of Locorotondo, Ostuni, Martina Franca and Ceglie Massapico.

baby sitters...) and for people who only want to participate in the milongas,

- For singles there
is a possibility for a single
occupation of a double room at a supplement of 25,- € per day
(only a few single rooms are available, so mention it at the time of your
reservation). Singles can also share a room with other singles (e.g. 2
ladies & 2 men together).
